General Notes:

• Please remember that I will not be in school on Friday, December 17th-Tuesday, December 22nd; my father is having double-knee replacement surgery and as an only child it is my responsibility to take him to the hospital and care for him when he returns home. I will, however, be in school on both the 22nd and 23rd. If you have any questions or concerns in my absence, please email me.
• Interim grades for Quarter 2 have been submitted and sadly it seems as though grades are lower than I would like to see. Hopefully some of the carelessness of the pre-winter break excitement will be relieved after the break and grades will bounce back.
• All research papers have been collected at this point and I will begin to grade them this coming weekend while in Pennsylvania with my father. I expect these to take me about a month to grade and they will be finalized before the end of Quarter 2.
• Please note that if we have a snow day, homework will be reassigned and the schedule will be modified. I do not expect students to complete any assignments given on snow days!
• As always, please check this homework blog several times per week for updates and check the homework chart in the front of the room for the most up-to-the-minute homework assignments! :-)
