Homework for 11/08-11/19

Periods 1, 5, and 6:
  • Monday, 11/08:
    • Continue to brainstorm potential topics for research paper
    • Remember to bring in index cards for in class note-taking (you will need to submit 30 cards, so be sure to bring a few extra in case you need them!)
    • Vocab Unit 5 Flashcards due on Friday, 11/12
    • Bring in canned and non-perishable food for the Salvation Army Canned Food Drive (the English teacher that collects the most cans wins a pizza party for each of his/her classes!)
  • Tuesday, 11/09:
    • Vocab Unit 5 Flashcards due on Friday, 11/12
  • Wednesday, 11/10:
    • Vocab Unit 5 Flashcards due on Friday, 11/12

    • Review Vocab Unit 5 Words for Tomorrow's quiz! 
    • Finish Paper Outline (if not already done)

    • No homework, enjoy your weekend!
    • If you are leaving early for Thanksgiving Break, have a great mini-vacation! :-)

General Notes
  • The Research Paper Process has begun in class; most of the work for this will be completed in class, so you should see a decrease in the amount of homework over the next few weeks!
  • Keep in mind that all rules and policies from 1st Quarter are still in effect for 2nd Quarter

    • Be Responsible for You AND Your Actions
    • No Late Homework is Accepted for Credit
    • No Name = No Credit
  • Everyone starts 2nd Quarter with a blank slate; don't tarnish your new slate! :-)
